Hi there I’m Lena Yazzie. Thanks so much for stopping by KubebaLife. Before launching this blog, I spent nearly a decade working in the hospitality and food-service industry.
I earned a BA in Business & Sustainability from the University of Colorado, and then moved into a role managing vendor relations and product sourcing for a boutique “better-for-you” snack company in Denver. Through that job, I became deeply curious about how products are made, marketed, and what they actually deliver when they arrive on your doorstep.
Over time, I also began crafting my own small side-projects: testing kitchen gadgets, outdoor gear, pet-accessories (yes—I’m a total dog-lover), and trying out snacks and wellness tools among friends.
That hands-on side-hustle grew until I decided in early 2025 to shift gears fully into this blog: honest product reviews, real-world usage insights, and practical buying advice. I live now just outside Boulder, Colorado, with my rescue pup Milo, and when I’m not researching or testing I’m hiking the foothills, sipping strong coffee, and tuning into how simple gear upgrades can make life smoother.

Why Kubeba Life
When I started KubebaLife, my goal was simple: to give you clear, no-fluff product reviews from someone who’s done the leg-work. Because of my previous job sourcing snacks and working with products aimed at people who care deeply about what they bring into their home, I developed a strong respect for transparency. I’ve seen first-hand how marketing can gloss over real performance, and I’ve also seen how some hidden features or manufacturing shortcuts make all the difference. So here I aim to bring that skepticism, curiosity, and practicality into every review.
Whether it’s a small kitchen appliance, a pet-care item, or home-improvement gadget, I test things as I would if I were shopping for my own household. What works, what doesn’t, what’s worth the money, and what’s just fluff. I write from real usage: evenings after a hike, weekends with family, in a household where simplicity and durability matter more than hype.
My Promise to You
When you read a review here, you’re getting my honest take. I’ll show you both the bright spots and the trade-offs. No unrealistic claims. No “magical fix” promises. If something deserves praise, I’ll say it. If something falls short, you’ll hear about it. And because I’ve spent years working on the “vendor side” of consumer goods, I’ll highlight things like build-quality, support/service experience, whether replacement parts exist, and how things hold up under everyday pressure.
Importantly, KubebaLife is an affiliate blog, which means I partner with some of the products I review so you might see links that earn a small commission. That’s how I keep this site running, but it never influences what I say. If a product doesn’t meet my standards, I’ll say so. I believe trust is earned, not assumed.
A Little Bit of What’s to Come
Looking ahead, I’ll be diving into gear for everyday living: home-organization tools, smart-home devices, outdoor adventure gear, pet care essentials (because Milo has strong opinions), and the kind of food-and-snack finds I grew comfortable sourcing back in my Denver days. I’ll also share practical comparisons (this vs that), “what to know before you buy” posts, and seasonal gear reviews based on real-life weather, travel, and lifestyle shifts.
Thanks for being here, for reading, for letting me share what I discover. Let’s find the gear, gadgets and products that do more than just fill space let’s find the ones that genuinely make life better.

I’m Lena Yazzie, a product reviewer and everyday gear enthusiast based in Boulder, Colorado. Before creating KubebaLife, I spent nearly ten years in the hospitality and sustainable product industry, managing vendor sourcing and testing items designed for real homes and busy lives. That experience taught me how to spot what truly works versus what’s just clever marketing, and it shaped my belief that honest reviews should come from lived experience, not press releases.
In 2025, I turned that belief into KubebaLife – a space where I share my first-hand impressions, practical tips, and transparent recommendations on products that actually make life easier. From kitchen gadgets to outdoor tools and wellness essentials, I test each item as a real user would. When I’m not reviewing, you’ll find me hiking local trails with my rescue dog Milo or brewing a strong cup of coffee while planning the next review session.
